Linda Staats is an award-winning photographic artist
specializing in the colors, textures, and designs of flowers, gardens,
landscapes, and the world around us. She developed her photographic eye
while living in the Pacific Northwest, attracted by the rugged beauty of the
nearby mountains and the ocean. After recently moving to Saint Paul,
Minnesota she is discovering the lure and nature of the Upper Midwest – its
four seasons and its abundance of colors and textures.
Linda’s images are a reminder of the beauty surrounding
us that we often don’t “see” because of the busy-ness and the pace of our
everyday lives. She shows us the gentleness, sweetness, and beauty that is
found in our natural world, as well as the designs and curves that beg us to
stop and draw closer for a more intimate observation and conversation.
Some of her commercial clients include Regina’s Fine
Candies, the Minnesota State Horticultural Society, the W. W. Seymour
Botanical Conservatory, Van Lierop Bulb Farm, the Friends of Lee Metcalf
National Wildlife Refuge, the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce,
Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, and the Robert J. Dole Institute
of Politics. Her artwork is available through her website, and her line of
note cards and greeting cards are also available at specialty stores in Saint
Paul, Minnesota and in Tacoma, Washington. |
